The Vulture is an animal that comes to Sir Dan's aid twice.
History[]
MediEvil[]
Though initially interested in Dan only as a source of food, the Vulture develops a special bond with him.[1] It saves Dan from the Jabberwocky and later saves him from falling to his second death after the destruction of Zarok's Lair.
Behind the scenes[]
Symbolism[]
For Ancient Egyptians, vultures symbolised the eternal cycle of death and rebirth due to their ability to transform the “death” they feed on – i.e. carrion and waste – into life.[2]
