The Rhinotaurs are the thickset creatures responsible for the Massacre of Mellowmede. After destroying the town, they entered into hibernation within the Crystal Caves' crystals.[1][2] They also appear in the hedge maze at the Asylum Grounds as part of Baffy the Baffler's quest.

- Rhinotaurs are based on minotaurs from Greek mythology.
- One of the "MediEvil Battleground" enemy concept arts (as seen from the gallery above) suggests that the Rhinotaurs were meant to appear in the Pools of the Ancient Dead.
