Mud Knights, also known as Undead Warriors, are reanimated soldiers who died at the Battle of Gallowmere. They haunt the Pools of the Ancient Dead.

Book of Gallowmere entry

The soil of the Ancient battlegrounds, made fertile by the blood of centuries spits forth the husks of these sorry souls.

Their battle should have long since ended, and yet still they march in proud defiance of the living.

These pesky enemies will throw axes at you that will not only harm you, but push you precariously backwards when they connect. Take them out as soon as possible, when you encounter them.[1]

MediEvil: Resurrection

Resurrected from the pools that they perished in during the great battle of Gallowmere, these hellions are undeniable masters of hack and cleave warfare. Whether it be hurling their axes from a distance, or chopping away hatefully from close quarters, these are the kind of opponents that are always best dispatched as swiftly as possible. With no obvious weakness these hatchet happy soldiers must be treated with utmost respect, else one fast ends up as bone marrow soup.[2]

MediEvil / MediEvil: Resurrection

The Undead Warriors appear in Pools of the Ancient Dead, usually spawned from mud pools. They attack by throwing axes at Daniel from a distance. They cannot be drowned in the mud like Armoured Knights in MediEvil, though it is possible to drown them in MediEvil: Resurrection.

In the MediEvil PS4 remake, the Mud Knights are summoned by Lord Kardok's command in Zarok's Lair.
