“Paths go this way, paths go that way...“ This article is about the enemy type. For the characters with good souls, see Captured Farmers. |
“ | Now for our next enemy, the Hay Monster. Use your Small Sword against them as well when they come at you. Usually, there are at least two to three per haystack. | ” |
Mad Farmers are inhabitants of the Scarecrow Fields. Gallowmere's declining population has decreased a need for crops which drove these farmers mad.[2]
Strategy[]
The mad farmers hide in haystacks throughout the fields. Upon Sir Dan's approach toward a haystack, they jump out and attack him with their pitchforks. Slashing them with the Broad Sword is one of the easiest ways to kill them.

Trivia[]
- In an early version of the original game as seen in one of its promotional trailers, the farmers came out of wagons of hay instead of haystacks.
- The farmers are called "Hay Monsters" in MediEvil's official strategy guide. This name shouldn't be confused with the enemies of the same name from MediEvil: Resurrection.
