It is said that Rune Stones were made by the ancients, who captured the magical energy emanating from Gallowmere and trapped it within the stones.[1] Runes are used to unlock doorways and gates that have a lock in the style of a begging hand. These hands will only accept Rune Stones of the same colour as themselves.
